Our corporate governance policies and procedures are designed to help us achieve our objectives and protect the interests of our shareholders. Throughout 2021 we’ve continued to foster effective coordination of assurance activities across Global, leveraging our updated Three Lines Model as part of our commitment to strong governance and risk management practices.

Materiality and stakeholder engagement
Materiality helps us understand our impacts and our stakeholders’ concerns and meet their expectations. The relationship between our material issues and the SDGs’ targets, quantified according to the level of our contribution, has led us to prioritize SDGs 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16 and 17. Global Investor Relations’ mission is to maintain an open dialogue and build long-term relationships based on credibility and trust with its financial community, including investors, research analysts and the regulator of the Spanish market. We aim to communicate effectively and proactively, in a consistent and timely manner.
